How the Like button 'could' look
Thanks to feedback from our users, we agreed it would be a great idea to be able to ‘Like’ a location in the skyway using Facebook’s ‘Like’ button. However, after spending quite a bit of time on this project, we’ve determined that the button is just too dang slow for us. Our map is quite snappy and responsive in Safari and Firefox, but a little clunky in IE yet, and this button really slows things down. We won’t drop the idea completely, but we sure hope a better/faster solution comes along soon.
Does anyone have other ideas for social network integration? We’re working on a few of our own, but we’d love to hear more feedback! This isn’t to say you still can’t ‘Like’ our blog… (in the right-side navigation)
